“Beach Lanzarote!”
“Beach Lanzarote!” Annually, multitudes of tourists arrive at the Canary Islands on holiday. A Lanzarote beach holiday is without doubt the most sought-after destination. Pristine beaches and breathtaking scenery abound. Any of the several choices will guarantee that your Lanzarote beach holiday will be a memorable one. A few of the best beaches include:
Puerto del Carmen Beach. For people who delight in diving, this beach is a fabulous choice. Its refreshing water is transparent and soothing and has spectacular fish and an amazing sea floor. Deep-sea divers and those who like to snorkel will love spending many blissful hours swimming in the easy movement of the ocean. What a wonderful Lanzarote beach!
Puerto Calero Beach. This one, too, is a magnificent Lanzarote beach well-suited for diving. It boasts white sands, multi-coloured ocean animals and a wavy sea floor. Scuba diving becomes quite the stress-free activity on Lanzarote holidays.
Arrieta Beach. This beach is directly north of Costa Teguise, and is one that must not be overlooked. The majority of Lanzarote’s beaches consist of luxurious lily-white sand; Arrieta Beach offers something quite the opposite, having instead the rarer black sand. This makes it the best-known island beach here on Lanzarote.
Costa Teguise Beach. Since the winds are so energetic at Costa Teguise, it has the reputation of being a favourite spot for windsurfing. Its splendid scenery makes this beach quite memorable.
Papagavo Beach– an equally excellent site for windsurfing. Those who need to get away from the noise and flurry of their normal routine will find this beach a prime spot in which to do so.
Playa Dorada Beach. This beach was not made by nature, and is an excellent choice for basking in the sun or building sand castles. It is family-friendly, includes gentle waters, and is the perfect choice for beach holidays on Lanzarote.
El Reducto Beach. This delightful beach has beautiful sun-kissed sand, and is a splendid destination, especially if you have your young family with you on holiday. It is easy to reach, and features the San Gines Lagoon, where you can see the local fishermen’s compact boats.
The island boasts of an assortment of other beaches for holiday amusement. Some are small and secluded while others seem to stretch out endlessly, with all manner of activity. Regardless of the style of beach a visitor would opt for, Lanzarote has it.
